Cristián Sjögren

MBA 2010 from Haas Business School at UC Berkeley with emphasis in entrepreneurship and clean tech. He actively participated as Director of Berkeley Energy Resources Collaborative and the Latin American Business Association and also developed a go to market plan for a clean tech technology created in Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Prior to Haas, he worked 4 years in the gas appliances industry. He was the Sales and Marketing Director of Eninsa, a start up from former Indugas group, and led the new product line development and market introduction of Eninsa brand. Previously, he was a Product Developer at CEM, the largest gas water heater producer of Latam, and led the development of a low cost product line to face Chinese competition. Previously, he worked in marketing for P&G Chile. Cristián is an Industrial Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica.

Koichi Arimitsu

Founder, COO

High-tech entrepreneur with eighteen years' experience in management, marketing, and supply-chain development in Japan, Europe, and Silicon Valley, California. Previously successfully formed the eCommerce department for NEC Electronics in Germany and a Strategic supply chain consulting practice for Digital Foundry in the US. Undergraduate education at UC Santa Cruz in Economics and Executive training in supply chain at the IMD in Switzerland.

Daniel Villablanca, AxonAxis shareholder and founder of SA, Equifax Corporation successfully sold in 2010. Additionally, a shareholder and Director of 3Gmotion (solutions for cellular telephony in Latin America), Contributor of Venture Capital Funds Aurus Bios, Aurus IT and Trident. In Chile, Daniel helped establish Microsoft, where he served as General Manager in the 90s. Previously, he participated in the opening of the first subsidiaries of Microsoft Corporation in Brazil, Venezuela, Uruguay, Argentina (where he was Sales Manager for Hispanic America). Recently appointed Director of Correos de Chile as a representative of the new administration of the Government of Chile. Daniel is a Commercial Engineer from the University of Chile.

Eduardo Novoa, Investment Partner at Industek (2007). Prior to this role, Eduardo was the country manager for PSEG in Chile (Group and Group Saesa Chilquinta), general manager at the Saesa Group, Director of development at Enersis, and a director at various power companies in Chile and Latam. Eduardo has strong knowledge in the electricity market. Apart from his executive career, Eduardo has also participated in various businesses as a private investor (Starbucks Coffee Chile-Chile Yogen Fruz, real estate projects). Eduardo is a member of Chile Global Angels network and received his Master of Business administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago.

Juan Carlos Muñoz, Director at ACTI and founding member of the Angel Investment group of Fundación Chile. In the past, Juan Carlos has been involved in numerous startups in Chile and most recently served as the Executive Director of ETICSA. He has over 20 years of experience working in the IT and networking sector in the United States, Peru, Argentina, and Chile. Juan Carlos completed his undergraduate education at the University of Concepción and his MBA from MIT.

Andrés Pesce, VP of Business Development and Investments at Fundación Chile and President of Solar Chile. Andrés is an industrial civil engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica and has a Master in Business Administration from L. Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He is widely experienced in consultancy, finance, project assessment, business development, sales, and marketing in Chile, Italy, and England. At Fundación Chile's VP, Andrés is in charge of the organization's corporate portfolio and participated in the design of business models for different projects.
